Fixing Papers is a collection that explores how people create, enforce, and contest immigration systems. Artist's have shared artist books and their artistic ephemera related to navigating these bureaucratic systems. The purpose of the collection is to help us better visualize the shrouded decision-making process and fixed categories that immigration systems impose.
Fixing Papers hopes to disorganize and unsettle the categories our lives are made to navigate.
